Psalm 51:7-12 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/PSA.51.7-12.NLT

Psalm 51 is the famous Psalm of King David that he composed with a contrite heart after being rebuked by the prophet Nathan for his adultery with Bathsheba and trying to cover up the murder of her husband. This Psalm is a lament that is a passionate expression of grief. Sin and grace are the two great levelers in human experience. All Christians everywhere have felt the weight of their own sin at times. As grace lifts us up as children and heirs of God, sin brings us down to remind us of how much we need God’s grace. So time and again, we turn to Psalm 51 to lament our sins and acknowledge our great need for a Savior.

Ask God to search your heart and reveal any sin you may be unaware of or that you haven’t been willing to repent from.
